Minä asensin Windows 7:n OS X:ään DVD-lisenssillä viime vuonna Boot Campilla. Sen jälkeen vielä päivitin sen Windows 10:een. Alla on joitain muistiinpanoja, joita tein toimenpiteestä. Tuon mukaan ilmeisti Windows 7:n asennuksen jälkeen kopioin OS X:n puolella USB-tikulle Bootcamp-ajurit ja ajoin ne Windows 7:ssa. Sen jälkeen ajoin Windows 7:ssa Bootcamp-päivityksiä Applen päivitysohjelmalla, joka tuli ajureiden asennuksen yhteydessä. Eli Bootcamp-ajurit asensivat Windowsiin jonkun "Apple update" -ohjelman, tms (löytyi Windowsin haulla), mikä sitten päivitti ajurit tuoreisiin versioihin.
Tuossa nykyisessä Bootcampissa saattoi tosiaan olla sellainen piirre, että se ei enää virallisesti (automaattisesti) tuo Windows 7:aa, mutta jotenkin tuolla tavalla sain asennettua. Toivottavasti tuosta on jotain apua.
## About installation
- Apple's guides said I need a 16 GB memory stick. 8 GB was enough.
- Following the diary below is generally enough in this process. (You can copy the support software from Apple to the memory stick already after installing the ISO image.).

Create an ISO image of Windows 64-bit according to [apple-iso].
1 While your Mac is started from OS X, insert the Windows installation DVD in an external optical USB drive or connect your Windows USB drive to a USB port on your Mac.
2 After the install media mounts in the Finder, open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder (choose Go > Utilities).
3 Select the USB optical drive or Windows flash drive so it's highlighted in the Disk Utility window.
4 Click the New Image icon at the top of the Disk Utility window.
5 Choose DVD/CD master from the Image Format menu, then choose none from the Encryption menu.

1 Give the new file a name, then click Save. The Creating Image window appears with a progress bar. It might take some time to create an image file from your Windows install media.
2 After imaging is done, select the Windows install media in the disk list, then click the Eject button at the top of the Disk Utility window.
3 If you're using an external optical drive, disconnect it from the USB port after the DVD ejects.
4 From the Finder, locate the disk image file you created earlier. Single click on it to select it, then press the Enter or Return key on your keyboard to rename the file. Change the disk image file extension from .cdr to .iso. When prompted, click "Use .iso" to verify this change.

Start boot camp. Optical drive removed, USB stick connected.
Could not do it this time because FileVault is still unencrypting (it said it's encrypting).

In the case of Windows 7, Boot Camp doesn't download and install the support software automatically. Instead I had to download the support software here:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205016 So I downloaded the support software but right now it's still only on my Mac's desktop
Next, I allocated 300 GB for Windows.

It had automatically booted, with text message:
No bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key
Then I restarted holding Alt and booted from USB. Chose the Bootcamp partition. It said 'Windows must be installed to a partition formatted as NTFS' I formatted the drive in Windows installer.
It installed Windows. But, no Bootcamp. Booted to OS X holding alt. Copied the Bootcamp drivers on USB stick. Changed startup disk back to *Macintosh HD OS X*. Also, turned on FileVault (requires a restart).

All went pretty well. I installed the Bootcamp drivers from the USB stick in Windows.
USB keyboard did not work in Windows and I had to use my wired keyboard. Then I ran Apple software update in Windows and installed it. After this, the bluetooth keyboard also worked in Windows.
Installing further Windows updates, and the rest of the updates from Apple. "including the FaceTime Camera Update." as this says <

In Windows, to prevent forced updates, also open "Windows Update" and change *Important updates => Download updates but let me choose whether to install them".
