Apple today announced that Steve Jobs will officially unveil the next version of OS X — Tiger — during his Worldwide Developers Conference keynote presentation on Monday, June 28 at 10 a.m. PST. In typical Apple anticipatory flair, the site simply reads:
Innovation never sleeps.
Preview the highly evolved Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger."
Last year, Apple pushed the WWDC back to June 23 in order to ensure "that every developer will leave the event with a copy of Panther in their hands." Jobs also used the stage to unveil the new Power Mac G5 and iSight digital video camera.
